I recently found out that the self-employment rate is estimated to go up by 7.8% within the next 6 years. I think that number will definitely change as more people realize it isn’t as difficult as they think it is to start their own business. Yes, it does take hard work, but the process doesn’t always need to look like a jigsaw puzzle if you’re led by the right resources.
I have started a few small businesses over the past ten years and have learned a lot from each one. My biggest takeaway had to be finally figuring out why none of the others worked out. It was because I didn’t have an actual reason as to WHY I was starting them. They weren’t necessarily driven by passion or my heart. People can see that! When you find the reason behind your passion, you feel a shift. A push forward. Reassurance that whatever it is that you’re inspired by is what you’re meant to be doing. It will keep you reaching for more almost every day (because let’s be real – we are all human and all have bad days).
In my course that I recently launched “Quick-Starting A Small Business” I go over the main questions that you need to ask yourself to really grab onto your WHY. Knowing the answer to that is what is going to push you to keep going when the work seems overwhelming or when you can’t seem to figure out a problem or get through a dry patch. I never had my reason until now, and it makes all the difference in my business process today.
I want to help you avoid mistakes I’ve made in business, and give you the steps & tricks you need to get yours off the ground!
